Dr. Michael Hirt is Director of the Austrian Institute for Management Innovation and CEO of HIRT&FRIENDS, a management consulting firm developing innovative strategies and organizational models for major European and international companies. Previously Michael was with BCG, a global management consulting firm and a leading global advisor on business strategy.

 

In his keynote speeches Michael combines the intellectual leadership of a professor, with the pragmatism of a top manager and inspires with authenticity and humor.

The energetic Austrian holds his keynotes in English, German and French. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from INSEAD, the leading European Business School and law degrees (Dr.) from Vienna University ('with distinction') and McGill University (LL.M.) in Montreal/Canada.

 

He is author of four books and numerous articles. According to Harvard Business Review and McKinsey his latest publication is one of the top studies on "Management Innovation".

 

Michael and his family live near Vienna/Austria. He was born in 1965.
